The 5-point-plan – preparation for your NOM 2018 Ireland visit

Complete the online application form here. Forms must be entered before September 3rd 2018

2. Do you need a Visa to visit Ireland?

Please check online if you require a valid visa to enter Ireland. You can find details here.

Additionally you can complete visa application forms here.

You should be able to check the results of your visa application here. You will need your application reference number. To search the visa decisions PDF hit Ctrl-Alt-F on your keyboard and search the document using your application reference number.

Please note to be granted entry into Ireland, you must have a valid passport, with an expiry date in advance of three months prior to departing Ireland.

3. Plan your travel

Flights from the below airlines fly directly into Cork Airport during the conference times. Direct flights connect from Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester in the UK. Charles de Gaulle, Paris and Schiphol, Amsterdam also have direct flights.

If you are arriving via Dublin please make note that train connection times from Dublin Heuston Station to Cork Kent can be up to 2.5 hours. Tickets can be found on Irish rail.

If you are arriving via Dublin airport you can take the Aircoach bus to Cork City, taking 3.5 hours. Tickets can be found on Aircoach.

4. Confirm your itinerary

Advise us your flight number on the confirmation form here. Transport is arranged from Cork airport to the Clayton Hotel Cork City with Bus Éireann.

5. Staying on extra nights in Ireland?

For the conference we will book three nights accommodation (20th, 21st and 22nd of November) in The Clayton Hotel for the duration of the conference. For those participating in workshops four nights accommodation in the Clayton Hotel will be booked (20th, 21st 22nd and 23rd of November).
